Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Course Overview

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person who has been in contact with low voltage live electrical equipment and/or conductors, and perform CPR in line with current national guidelines. It will assist you in understanding the Electrical and Safety legislation requirements and regulations for both employees and employers working within the electrical industries. The student must demonstrate competency in HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation prior to undertaking UETTDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live LV panel.

Entry Requirements

  • Payment prior to course commencement see terms and conditions in the student handbook.
  • Valid photo ID
  • Have a good understanding of the English language
  • Wear comfortable clothing and fully enclosed footwear
  • In line with assessment requirements, Participants must be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for 2 complete minutes on the ground floor
  • USI – Unique Student Identifier
  • $195 per person (no GST) for public bookings.

Full payment for courses up to $1,500 must be made before the commencement of the course unless the Payment Plan option is selected. For courses that cost over $1,500, Host Safety and Training will hold an initial deposit of $1,500. The balance of fees payable will be charged at a point in the course that is proportionate to the amount of the deposit paid, e.g. a 10-day course costing $3,000, the remaining $1,500 will be charged at the end of day 5 (upon completion of 50% of the course).

Course duration is approximately eight (8) hours

Participants who are deemed competent will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by the Australian Institute of Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO #40772) trading as Host Safety and Training.
