The S11 Refresher, which meets Standard 11 requirements, provides industry workers with essential risk assessment and safety skills required to operate safely on mine sites. It ensures knowledge and skills of coal workers are updated to enable them to identify hazards and manage risk in the workplace. The S11 Refresher program explores safety leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills in situations of hazard identification and risk management. The program aims to instil a positive safety culture in all personnel who work in the coal industry.
This course is designed to ensure that supervisors understand their legislative requirements and have the skills and knowledge to ensure a safe and compliant removal for the removal of friable and non-friable asbestos in a wide variety of scenarios.
This course is intended for workers who already possess experience and covers advanced topics such as pump fundamentals and problem-solving. Qualified Operators can supervise other High Pressure Water Jetting team members.
Our vertical rescue course is designed for workers who are required to perform rope rescue for injured personnel.
The Mining Supervisor course meets the requirements for the position of a Supervisor in the Resources Industry, as per s.56 of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and s.51 of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999. It is recognised by both the Coal Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee, and the Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee.

While its use is now completely prohibited, there is a growing need to safely dispose of asbestos and asbestos-containing material (ACM).

The length of training will depend on the course itself. Some course require a few hours where others take between one and five business days to complete.

Some certifications do not have an expiry date, while others will expire in one – five years. However, this is dependent on the course.
