Vertical Rescue Course Overview

Our vertical rescue course is designed for workers who are required to perform precise rope rescues for injured personnel. Equipping participants with the knowledge and techniques essential for success, this course ensures workers are primed to handle rescue scenarios with confidence and expertise.

Entry Requirements

Participants must provide a Statement of Attainment / USI Transcript for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
Payment prior to course commencement – see terms and conditions in the student handbook.
The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
As a minimum, Year 10 level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills (or equivalent)
What to wear: Long trousers, long sleeve shirt, enclosed footwear (as a minimum)
Good level of physical fitness

Please note that all card payments over $1000 will incur a 2.2% transaction fee of the total amount paid.

This course is delivered over four (4) days.
Training and assessment is delivered face to face at any of our facilities or onsite.

Certifications

Participants who are deemed competent will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by Australian Institute of Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO #40772) trading as Host Safety and Training.
